Betty Joyce Buckner

Mrs. Betty Joyce Buckner, 67, of Trumann, died Friday at her home in Trumann. Born April 5, 1944, she was a homemaker of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily Screpe and Julie Harper, and three brothers, Dick Bratton, Bill Bratton and D.A. Bratton.

Mrs. Buckner leaves her fiance, Gary Bond of Trumann;

Three daughters, Vickie Cash of Trumann, Mary Newman of Heber Springs and Joyce Brown of Tyronza;

One son, Clay Buckner or Trumann;

Five sisters, Hazel Ross of Harrisburg, Nancy Wilson, Ellen Morelock and Dorothy Woods all of Trumann and Ruby Ward of Jonesboro;

Two brothers, Tommy Bratton of Palestine and Clay Bratton of Marked Tree;

Twelve grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Kenneth Doke officiating. Burial will follow at Potter Cemetery in LePanto. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
