Mrs. Marion Francis Fox, 88, of Lenoir City, Tenn., formerly of Manila, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Lenoir City. Mrs. Fox was born Dec. 17, 1923, in Evansville, Ind., the only child of Marvin and Lydia Wagner Hubbard. She was a 1942 graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Mich. She married her beloved William G. "Billy" Fox on Feb. 20, 1943, and had been married for 64 years when he passed away. During her years in Manila, Mrs. Fox was Superintendent of Sunday School at First United Methodist Church, a communion steward, usher and Sunday school teacher. She also started the Cub Scouts. In Lenoir City she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Volunteers Sunday School Class at Central United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Fox and wife Barbara of Lenoir City and Rick Fox and wife Joy of Anna, Ill.; six grandchildren, Angela Fox and husband Charles Hooker, Kristin-Fox Trautman and husband Lucas, Captain Jonathan Fox and wife Jennifer, Jessica Flinn and husband Michael, Candace Capps and husband Kent, Beth Putman; and 10 great-grandchildren, Myra Trautman, Leia Trautman, Auden Fox, Sophie Putman, Jack Putman, Lydia Capps, Jude Capps, Hudson Capps, Kathleen Fox and William Fox.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

The family prefers any memorials be made to Central United Methodist Church in Lenoir City or First United Methodist in Manila.
