Barbara Dianne Hodges Ezell

Mrs. Barbara Dianne Hodges Ezell, 59, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012, at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born Jan. 27, 1953, in Hannibal, Mo., she was the daughter of Marvin Henry and Dorothy Dee Levings Hodges, and a local area resident for the past 19 years. Dianne was a member of the Perry Christian Church in Perry, Mo.

Mrs. Ezell was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and "Memaw." She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and was also an avid reader. Family was most important in her life and time with them was the reason for her strong will and drive which kept her with us for three and a half years while battling pancreatic cancer.

Dianne leaves her parents, Marvin and Dorothy Hodges of Perry, Mo.;

Her husband of 36 years, Cory Alan Ezell of the home;

Her children, Samantha Ellis and husband, Matt, of Blytheville, Kayla Duet and husband, Paul, of Cabot, Zachary Ezell of Chuluota, Fla.;

A brother, Brian Hodges, and his wife, Linda, of Perry, Mo.;

Three grandchildren, Raleigh Ellis and Rory Ellis both of Blytheville, and Caden Duet of Cabot;

Two nieces, Shelby Hodges and Erika Hodges, both of Perry, Mo.; and

A host of family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Perry Christian Church in Perry, Mo., with the Rev. David Todd officiating a small service at 6 p.m. Interment will be in the Lick Creek Cemetery at a later date.
