Fairy Ann Sanders

Mrs. Fairy Ann Sanders, 58, of Luxora, died of heart failure Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012, in Jonesboro. Born Aug. 25, 1953, in Parkin, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Sallie Brown; her brothers Albert, Otto Jr. and Joe Brown; and her step-son Jimmy Depriest Jr.

Mrs. Sanders leaves her husband, Curtis Sanders of Luxora;

Three daughters, Angela Elliott of Osceola, Felicia Depriest and April Johnson of Luxora, and Jennifer Aldridge of Jonesboro;

One step-daughter, Latungla Ann James of Jonesboro;

One son, Mario Depriest of Osceola;

One step-son, Taylor Sanders of Luxora;

Four brothers, U.L. Brown of Flint, Mich., Lee Charles Brown of Luxora, Freddie Lee Brown of Indianapolis, Ind., and Robert Brown of Blytheville;

Five sisters, Effie Brown, Evelyn Brown, Verna Brown and Josephine Brown Matlock, all of Luxora, and Geraldine Woods of Arlington; and

Nineteen grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by Bishop Gregory Brown, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at New Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
