Harvey J. Rabey

Mr. Harvey J. Rabey, Jr., 74, of Manila, Ark., died Feb. 27, 2012, at the Manila Nursing Center. He was born March 10, 1937, in Heber Springs, Ark., to the late Harvey and Alice Rabey. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting, fishing, drinking coffee at Roadmart, and loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include one daughter, Theresa Vinson and husband James of Jonesboro, Ark.; three brothers, Donald Rabey of Chicago, Ill., Woodrow Rabey of Houston, Texas, and Homer Rabey of Mountain Home, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Whittenburg of Caraway, Ark.; two grandchildren, Paul Keith Rabey and Tiffany Martin; four great grandchildren, Hannah Jones, Fancy Martin, Damien Rabey, and Elizabeth Martin, and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Rabey was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Cecil Browning and C.J. Rabey, and two sisters, Mable Healey and Orphea Kinney.

Memorial services will be held at Westside Baptist Church in Manila at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 8, under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
