Jean Phillips, 74, of Gosnell, passed from this life Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Born in Blytheville to Dink and Linnie Jones Turner, she was a retired supervisor at American Greetings, where she worked for 35 years.

Jean loved working outdoors and especially in her flower beds. She was an avid reader and loved to cook for everyone and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Bradley Phillips; a brother, "Tex" Turner; and a sister, Dollie Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Phillips of Blytheville;

A brother, Bobby Turner of Memphis;

Five grandchildren, Tiffani Morss and husband, Michael, of Blytheville, Kelli Sawyer and husband, Kurt, of Conway, and Cheyenne McDaniel of Watts, Okla.; and

Three great-grandchildren, Makayla Moak, Brookelyn Evans and Haley Morss.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow in Dogwood Mausoleum at 2 p.m. with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
