Mrs. Darlene Stubbs, 54, of Blytheville, passed from this life Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Jonesboro to Ellis Logan and Mary George Ware Marshall, she was a retired teacher in the Armorel and Osceola School Districts and was of the Apostolic Faith.

Darlene loved to write poetry and was very adept at making floral wreaths and arrangements. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and nephew, Keith Marshall.

She leaves her husband, Tony Stubbs of the home;

Their children, Crystal Larmie and her husband, Justin, of Kansas City, and Gayla Tidwell and her husband, Ritchie, of Osceola;

Her father, Ellis Marshall of Jonesboro;

Two brothers, Lamar Marshall and his wife, Janice, of Wright City, Mo., and Marvin Marshall and wife, Evelyn, of Jonesboro;

Two sisters, Ada Bryant and her husband, Ron, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Virginia Pride and her husband, Leslie, of Wright City; and

Six grandchildren, Caedyn Larmie, Noelle Larmie, Lillian Larmie, Caleb Tidwell, Abigail Tidwell and Gabrielle Tidwell.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Marty Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. an online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com.
