Ernesto Perez, 44, of Valle Hermosa, Mexico, formerly of Manila, died early Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, from injuries received in an accident in Valle Hermosa. Born at Ciudad Mante, Mexico, he had lived much of his life in Manila and was a self-employed electrician. He had lived in Valle Hermosa since 2010.

Survivors include two sons, Ernest Perez, Jr. and Mosies Perez, both of Jonesboro; a daughter, Susie Rodriguez of Weiner; his parents, Ernesto and Adela Perez of Manila; four brothers, Carlos Perez, Josue Perez, Daniel Perez, Jacob Perez, all of Manila; eight sisters, Carmen Perez of Manila, Lisa Beard of Florida, Ruth Perez of Oklahoma, Diana Campbell of Oklahoma, Adela Perez of Oklahoma, Marisol Stanfill of Paragould, Maribel Perez and Marilou Curtis, both of Manila.

Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Robert White officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors Thursday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
