Mr. Larry Lynn Dildy, 65, of Manila, died Tuesday, Jan. 10. 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Sid and Beulah Briggins Dildy and had lived most of his life in Manila. Larry was a self-employed carpet layer, a member of the First Assembly of God in Manila, and was a U. S. Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-nephew, Cody Purser.

Survivors include his sister, Wilma Lindsey of Manila;

Two step-brothers, Darrell Andrews of Diamondhead, Miss., and Cletis Andrews of Arnold, Mo.;

One niece, Regina Brown of Jonesboro;

Three nephews, Kenny Blair of Wilmar, Ala., Terry Purser of Rossville, Tenn., and Tracy Purser of Manila; and

Three great-nieces and four great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with the Rev. Matthew Collier officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Guests may register at www.HowardFuneralService.com
