Mary Frances Crawford Lendennie

Mrs. Mary Frances Crawford Lendennie, 82, of Weiner, formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Dell to H.R. and Mary Emma Akins Crawford, she was a retired bookkeeper for E.B. Gee and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mary loved music and played the piano whenever possible. She also enjoyed gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Gene Lendennie; two brothers, R.B Crawford and H.R. Crawford Jr.; and a sister, Emma Lou Crawford.

She leaves her children, Jeannie Sitzer and husband, Gary, of Weiner, John Lendennie and wife, Dorinda, of Rogers, and Steven Lendennie and wife, Pat, of Blytheville;

A sister, Virginia Knop of Blytheville; and

Five grandchildren, Jordan Sitzer, Monica Sitzer, Noah Sitzer, Karen Lendennie and Karla Qualls.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Elmwood Cemetery with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. There will be no visitation. An online register may be signed at cobbfuneralhome.com
