Gary W. 'Hacksaw' Dawson Sr.

Mr. Gary W. "Hacksaw" Dawson Sr., 61, of Keiser entered into rest Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, in Keiser. Born Oct. 3, 1950, to Fred and Eunice Dawson, he attended Keiser Full Gospel Church and was a Machinist for Southwire.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patty Dawson; two sisters, Carolyn Dawson and Juanita Chauvin; and one brother, Howard Ray Dawson.

He leaves two sons, Jeff (and Wendi) Swallers of Olive Branch, Miss., and Gary (and Jamie) Dawson Jr. of Osceola;

Two daughters. Felicia (and Tim) Pierce of Wilson and Misty (and Chris) Thompson of Cabot;

One sister, Loretta Rash of Osceola; and

Ten grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec, 30, 2011, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec, 31, 2011, at Roller-Swift Chapel with Bro.
