To the editor:

The WIN (Women's International Network) does it again. This month has been especially great for WIN. First, they went to Memphis and into a entered in a dance jamboree contest given by the Dazzalin Glamoretts of Memphis, where they placed first in hip-hop stepping. They showed up to be the hit of the crowd. They did the city of Blytheville proud. Then, they went on a three-day tour given by D&B Entertainment where they were in the company of such high-profile names as Lee Williams and the gospel QCS, Ms. Knowles and the Brown Singers, Pastor Tim and the Fellas and many, many more. Each night they honored the girls and allowed them to tell the story of how the WIN program has shown to be a positive force in their life. The crowd was very moved and impressed with how the girls represented themselves.

Each night the girls grabbed the attention of the crowd by telling their heart-felt stories and left them with a positive message and hope. The city and community should be very proud. The WIN sponsor, Ms. Patty Bell, said she was very proud of the girls. She states that the girls work very hard to change their lives. She also states that her program is a positive one and is still in need of donations and the support of the community. Ms. Bell thanks the promoters of the tour, Ms. Diane Moss and Bee Oliver for including the girls and hopes that the girls gain other positive attention. Ms. Bell states that the girls are very committed to doing both projects, competitions and church functions. Ms. Patty Bell states that the girls and boys are in need of donations and moral support from the community and the city of Blytheville.

Way to go, WIN. Keep up the good work.
