Betty Jane Sandberg

Betty Jane Sandberg, 91, of Paragould, Ark., died Oct. 24, 2011, at Belle Meade Rehabilitation Center in Paragould. Mrs. Sandberg was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Indianapolis, Ind., to the late Ernest and Esther Long. Mrs. Sandberg was an Army veteran with the rank of lieutenant, retired from nursing, loved to travel, member of VFW, Disabled Veterans and volunteered at hospitals.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Gramling of Paragould, Ark.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service Manila, Ark.
