Kensie Noyes Laffoon

Ms. Kensie Noyes Laffoon, 91, of Paragould, Ark., died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at the Craighead Nursing Center. Ms. Laffoon was born Aug. 18, 1920, in Perdue, Ala., to the late Benjamin Franklin and Ada Cordelia Laffoon. Ms. Laffoon was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended meetings in Paragould. She loved to talk to anyone about Jehovah's word and blessings and she also enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Neil Laffoon and wife Rhonda of Paragould, Ark., and Kelvin Laffoon and wife Suzanne of Jonesboro, Ark.; one brother, Nils Mickler and wife Betty of Eustis, Fla., and a host of other family and friends.

Ms. Laffoon was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Glen E. Laffoon, and 18 siblings.

Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Highway 49 North, Paragould, Ark., with Jeff Baker officiating. The family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Ark.
