Mr. Donald Gene Mosley, 68, a lifelong resident of Blytheville, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born to James Victor Mosley and Birdie Baswell Mosley, he was of the Pentecost Faith. Mr. Mosley was a retired construction worker. He loved music and was a local musician who also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Huff and Shelby Cole; and one brother Harold Mosley.

Mr. Mosley leaves his wife, Helen Hodge Mosley;

A daughter, Donna Vernon and her husband, Ronnie, of Blytheville;

A son, Danny Mosley of Gosnell;

A brother, Billy Ray Mosley of St. Louis;

A grandchild, Rhonda Butler and her husband, Jeff;

Two great-grandchildren, Wyatte Butler and Haydne Butler; and

Three nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
