Stephen Jared Shaneyfelt

Mr. Stephen Jared Shaneyfelt, 28, of Gobler, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011. Born to Gene Shaneyfelt and Tonya Taylor, he worked for Daniels Farms in Rives, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dr. E.A. Shaneyfelt, and his grandmother, Monda Newcomb.

Mr. Shaneyfelt leaves three sisters, Lindsay Atchinson of Springfield, Mo., and Elaine Elizabeth Shaneyfelt and Jillian Jean Shaneyfelt of Pinckneyville, Ill.;

One grandmother, Elizabeth Shaneyfelt of Manila;

One grandfather, Dennis Newcomb of Lake City; and

A special aunt, Mitzi Medsker, and her daughter Jacklynn.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with the Rev. J.E. Crews and the Rev. Waylan Tom officiating. Pallbearers were Danny Davis Jr., Tim Redd, Adam Baugus, Jeremy Swindle, Andy Braden and T.J. Scott. Burial followed in the Manila Cemetery. The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
