Mr. Bryan Wayne Turner, 44, of Blytheville passed from this life Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Bryan fought a courageous battle with diabetes since the age of 16.

He was born in Blytheville, to Herman and Charlotte Linnea Stivers Turner and was of the Baptist faith.

Bryan liked to hunt and fish and enjoyed working at Hawks, Inc. He also loved spending time at the family cabin at Mammoth Springs. He enjoyed playing around and joking with his nieces and younger cousins, who affectionately called him "Uncle Bryanie." He also enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte, in November 2010.

He leaves his father, Butch Turner, of the home;

Two sisters, Paula Norvell and her husband, Howard, of Wilson, and Kristi Pointer and her husband, Craig of Vancouver, Wash.;

Four nieces, Lacie Edwards, Kinsey Norvell, Addy Norvell and Ella Grace Pointer;

Two aunts, Larna Rounsaville and her husband, David, of Holland, Mo., Suzette McCanless and her husband, Gary Don of Bradenton, Fla.;

Four cousins, Jeremy Rounsaville, Gayla Hoskins and her husband, Wendell, and children, and Stacy McCanless and Blake McCanless.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home.
