Mary Clay Crawford

Mrs. Mary Clay Crawford of Little Rock died Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011. She was born in Luxora, a daughter of Sam Clay Bowen and Mary Patterson Bowen. She taught school in the Blytheville School District for 35 years and was a member of Highland Valley United Methodist Church in Little Rock.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Maxine Harrison and Mary Harriette Crawford; and a sister, Frances Wilson.

Survivors include a son-in-law, Charles Harrison; and friends, Kathy Kent and Nell Kent both of Rosedale, Miss., Frances and Bob Sandberg of Florida; and

A host of friends at Parkway Village and Highland Valley United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday at Highland Valley United Methodist Church followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Wade Shownes officiating. Interment will follow at Violet Cemetery in Osceola.
