Walter Lee Bell

Mr. Walter Lee Bell, 82, of Osceola, died of heart failure Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center in Osceola. Born Jan. 29, 1929, in Promiseland, he was a construction worker and a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clement Bell and Melissa Jennings; and two brothers, Lonnie Biggins and George Biggins.

Mr. Bell leaves two sons, Walter Bell Jr. of Chicago and Freddie (and Emma) Bell of Pflugerville;

One sister, Mary (and Lawrence) Johnson of Chicago;

Three brothers, Percy Bell, Johnnie Biggins and Milton Biggins of Chicago; and

Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on the same day at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
