Ila B. McMullin

Mrs. Ila B. McMullin, 86, of Jackson, Miss., a former resident of Blytheville, passed from this life Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, at St. Dominick's Hospital in Jackson.

Mrs. McMullin was born Aug. 27, 1924, to James W. and Lydia S. Fields in the Lone Oak community. She was a longtime employee of the State of Arkansas in the Social Services Department and an active member of The First Presbyterian Church in Blytheville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. McMullin Jr.

She leaves two sons Michael J. McMullin of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Terry W. McMullin of Olive Branch, Miss., and a daughter, E. Lynne McMullin of Jackson, Miss.; and

Two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for her at a future date in Olive Branch, Miss.
