Thelma Rice Putman

Mrs. Thelma Rice Putman , 81, of Hot Springs, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011. Born Jan. 27, 1930 to Louis Rice and Naomi Rice, she was a retired staff accountant for various firms and a charter member of the Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church.

Mrs. Putman leaves one daughter, Tina Kuntz of Hot Springs;

Two sons, Danny Putman and wife Toni of Atoka, Ten., and Greg Putman of Hot Springs.

Four sisters, Jewell Carr and husband Jerome of Cleveland, Louise Hartwig and husband Fred of Kansas City, Kan., Jean Branit of Kansas City, Kan. and Dorothy Hyde of Blytheville;

One brother, Donald Rice and wife Ann of Little Rock;

Five grandsons, two granddaughters and two great-grand children.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale funeral Home in Hot Springs. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. An online guest registry is available at www.caruth-hale.com.
