Robert Clyde 'Buck' Godsey Jr.

Mr. Robert Clyde "Buck" Godsey Jr., 63, of Osceola, entered into rest Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011. He was born Jan. 30, 1948, in Reverie, Tenn., to Robert and Vellar Campbell Godsey.

He was a member of Nodna Baptist Church, a construction worker and auto mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Jewell Dean Carr Royer and Bette Sue Sexton; and one brother, Larry Ray Godsey.

Mr. Godsey leaves two sons, Chris (and Natalee) Godsey of Arlington, Tenn., and Anthony "Tony" (and Raquel) Godsey of San Antonio, Texas;

One daughter, April Godsey of Cordova, Tenn.;

Two sisters, Martha (and Oscar) Gonzalez and Judy (and Ronnie) Brown, both of Osceola;

Three brothers, Eddie Godsey of Osceola, Donald (and Teresa) Godsey of Benton, and Michael (and Sherrie) Godsey of Osceola;

Five grandchildren, Caroline of Arlington, Tenn., and Joshua, Aaron, Jeremiah and Jazlynn, all of San Antonio; and

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was held rom 6-8 p.m. Monday at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Roller-Swift Chapel with Bro. J. Wayne Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Bassett Cemetery. An online guestbook s availalbe at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com
