Della Mae Taylor

Della Mae Taylor, 69, of Blytheville, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Methodist University in Memphis. Born Jan. 16, 1942, in Memphis, she was a homemaker of the Pentecostal Faith. Her parents, James and Elvie Holloway Jackson, preceded her in death, as did one brother, Harvey Lee Talley.

She leaves three daughters, Rosie Malone Jones (and Elder Charles) of Caruthersville, Mo., Freddie Denise Taylor of Blytheville, and Minister Fredia Peoples (and Henry Jr.) of Oklahoma City;

Two sons, Pastor Della James Taylor (and Juanita) of Oklahoma City, and Freddie L. Taylor Jr. of Ft. Meyers, Fla.

Two sisters, Joanna Flemming (and Otis) and Barbara Walker (and Curtis Sr.) of Blytheville;

One brother, Archie Lee Allen (and Mozetta) of Blytheville; and

Eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Temple Church of the Lord Jesus with Elder Charles Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
