Mr. Herbert Brewer, 62, of Caraway, Ark., died on Friday, June 24, 2011, near Caraway, as the result of an accident. Mr. Brewer was born on March 18, 1949, in Caraway to the late Robert and Flossie Brewer. Mr. Brewer was a member of the Caraway United Methodist Church and a farmer. He was an avid collector of old car memorabilia and Hot Wheels cars. He also had a special interest in and talent for restoring and repairing old farm tractors.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years Patsy Brewer; one son, Timmy Brewer and wife Carla of Manila, Ark.; six brothers, Bobby Brewer of Lepanto, Ark., Charlie Brewer and wife Tina of Blytheville, Ark., Jackie Brewer and wife Tammy of Bono, Ark., Leo Brewer and wife Flora of Caraway, Doyle Brewer and wife Linda of Jonesboro, Ark. and Otis Brewer and wife Martha of Caraway; a sister, Dumetra Pearson and husband Darrell of Caraway; four grandchildren, Katlin Brewer, Morgan Brewer, Breanna Pannells, and Braden Overman.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eldon Brewer.

Funeral services were held on Monday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at the Caraway United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Brewer and Rev. Doug Criss officiating.

Interment followed at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family received visitors on Monday, June 27, at the church from 12-2 p.m.

Pallbearers were Danny Branscum, Henry Dean Finch, Harvey Edward Faulkner, Mark Shasteen, Earl Cobb, and Asa Boatman.
