Rudy Lasater

Mrs. Rudy Lasater, 63, of Manila, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born Dec. 30, 1947, she was the daughter of Albert Thomas and Walsie Marie Henson Price. She had been a lifelong Manila resident and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Manila.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lasater; and her parents.

Mrs. Lasater leaves two sons, Mitchell Lasater and his wife, Tracy, of Leachville, and Shane Lasater and his wife, Tamara, of Manila;

Three brothers, Tommy Price and Billy Joe Price of Manila and Jack Price of Heber Springs;

One sister, Mary Jane Price of Manila;

Three grandchildren, Allan Wayne Lasater, Breona Mann and Samara Lasater; and

One great-granddaughter, Bailey Lasater.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Home in Manila. Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. James Chipman, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be Matthew Mann, Sonny Ray Dill, Larry Perkins, Don Spencer, Darrell Price and Christ Jackson. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Spencer.
