Bobbie Jean Cross Wilford

Bobbie Jean Cross Wilford, 54, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born August 23, 1956, in Blytheville, to L.Z. Cross and Vera Mae Simmons Cross, who preceded her in death. She was a retired security guard and a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Burton and Eric Burton.

She leaves three daughters, Laquisha (and Tyrone) Bryson of Lamar, Miss., Wendi (and Thomas) Kennedy of Sherwood and Ashley and (Jarijuana) Carter of Blytheville;

Two sons, Detrick (and Doris) Burton of Memphis and Winston Burton of Jefferson City, Mo.;

One sister, Robbie Jean (and James) Hunt of Blytheville;

One brother, Christopher (and Lisa) Cross of Gosnell; and

Six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. J.C. Seward officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
