Mr. Robert Lee Henry Flie, 61, of Luxora, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis. He was born Nov. 30, 1949, in Osceola, to Jack and Everliner Richmond Flie, who preceded him in death.

He was a truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church in Frenchman's Bayou, where he was a deacon, a choir member and sang with St. John's Spirituals.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Flie.

He leaves his wife, Teresa McCullum Flie of Luxora;

Three daughters, Felicia McCullum (and Marshall) Fife of Fayetteville, N.C.; Tammy (AND Kevin) Johnson of Clarksville, Tenn., and Francis Flie of Lake Wales, Fla.;

Three sons, Robert Deon (and Yolanda) Flie of Olive Branch, Miss., Kevin L. Flie of Luxora and Kenny Gladney of Los Angeles;

Five sisters, Thelma Flie Bunch and Gladys Flie (and Charles) Hister of Benton Harbor, Mich., Janice Flie (and James) Baker and Charlotte Flie Brown of Osceola and Evelyn Flie (and Sylvester) Smith of Gosnell;

Three brothers, Joe (and Cheryl) Flie of St. Louis, Wallace Flie of Marion and Wayne Flie of Luxora; and

Seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Osceola with the Rev. R.J. Hill and the Rev. W.L. Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Whiteside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola.
