Laverne Harlan

Mrs. Laverne Harlan, 78, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, March 22, 2011. She was an active member of Clear Lake Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband James Harlan.

She leaves her daughters, Cynthia Diana (and Ronnie) of Murfreesboro, Melinda Beggs (and Danny) of Hughes;

Her sisters, Betty Bunn (and Gene) of Blytheville, Doris Coleman (and Larry) of Blytheville, Carol Britt (and Tony) of Bartlett, Tenn.; and

Four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon until service time of 2 p.m. today at Family Funeral Care in Memphis. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
