To the editor:
My name is Autumn Solley and I am a sixth-grade student at Rogers High School in Florence, Ala.
I am in the process of doing a research paper on "sharecropping in the mid-1900s."
Would it be possible to print a notice in your newspaper that I would like to hear from anyone who lives in your area who can recall a story about cotton sharecropping in the mid-1900s? If so, I can be reached at the address below.
