David 'Tobey' Maynard

Mr. David "Tobey" Maynard, 51, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at his home. Born in Chicago to Bo and Ann Kincaid Maynard, he was a carpenter and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time at Blanchard Springs camping with his dogs.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Maynard.

He leaves his parents, Bo and Ann Maynard of Blytheville;

His children, Laura Duncan of Greenfield, Tenn., Rachel Maynard, Erin Maynard and Heather Bottenfield, all of Blytheville;

A sister, Linda Little of Blytheville; and

Four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Russell officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Calvary Baptist Church.
