Shirley Coleman, age 55, of Jonesboro, formerly of Blytheville, passed from this life Monday Feb. 14, 2011, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in Blytheville to James Aubrey and Maggie Maenette House Coleman, she was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Shirley "the comedian" was a very friendly person who loved to make people laugh. When it came to her family her love and devotion became very serious because they were her lifeline.

She leaves her sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and George Mueller of Rochelle, Ill., Brenda and Peyton Hardy of Arlington, Tenn.;

Brothers and sisters-in-law, James Edward and Glenda Coleman of Turrell, Ken and Nina Coleman of Tomball, Texas, James Ronald Coleman of Blytheville; and

Many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. today in Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be e-mailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net
