Richard 'Tony' Whittle

Richard "Tony" Whittle, 56, of Clearwater, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011, at his home. Born in Blytheville to Grover and Katherine Whittle, he was a graduate of Blytheville High School. After finishing college he went to work for Channel 7 TV in Little Rock for several years before deciding to move to Florida and work as a cameraman for the Home Shopping Network until he became disabled. Although his disability limited him, he worked at home on his computer designing web sites for customers plus designing unusual gifts for family and friends.

Mr. Whittle was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Whittle.

He leaves three sisters, Edna James of San Antonio, Texas, Sherry Campbell and her husband, Charley, of Blytheville, and Janet Sparks of Memphis; and

A host of nieces, nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
