Minnie Lou Williams

Mrs. Minnie Lou Williams, 95, of Phoenix, Ariz., widow of Bert Williams, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, in Phoenix. Born at Trimble, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late John and Ora Pierce Wright and had been a Manila resident for the past 90 years. She was a 1932 graduate of Manila High School and was a retired beautician. Mrs. Williams was an 80 year member of Manila First United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Manila B&PW club.

She is survived by her son, Albert Williams, and wife Deborah of Peoria, Ariz.; her daughters, Teresa Sickels and husand Wayne of Peoria, Ariz., and Mary Jon Ashley and husband Sonny of Manila; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at Frist United Methodist church in Manila with Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.

The family will recieve visitors Wednesday evening, Dec. 29, from 6-8 at the funeral home.
