Martha Sue Adams, 75, of Leachville, widow of Bill Adams, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at her home. Born at Caraway she was the daughter of the late Shirk and Ada King Hubbard and had been a lifelong Leachville area resident. She was a former employee of American Greetings in Osceola and had worked in concessions at the Leachville baseball park for many years. She and her late husband operated a fireworks stand in Leachville for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons, David Parham and Terry Adams, a granddaughter, Amy McCaghren, and a sister, Lucy Anglin.

She is survived by six daughters, Cindy Carle of Monette, Sherry Lairsey and Janie Rogers, both of Leachville, Patty Barrett of Black Oak, Diane Tucker of Caledonia, Miss., and Brenda Adams of Allen, Texas; three sisters, Bonnie Isabel of Hope, Georgia Powers of Coldwater, Miss., and June Hayes of Little Rock; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. David Price officiating.
