Ima Jean Dortch McCullough

Ima Jean Dortch McCullough, 80, of Bella Vista, and a former longtime resident of Blytheville, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at the Highland Health Center in Bella Vista. She was born in Leachville on March 1, 1929, to the late Ira Lee and Beatrice Stella Gossett Dortch. Mrs. McCullough was a retired employee of the Arkansas Parks and Tourism Department and a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Blytheville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis L. McCullough, and a brother, Pete Dortch.

Mrs. McCullough leaves two daughters, Sandra Jean Jackson of Sweetwater, Tenn., and Bette A. Mask of Hardy; a son, Lynn Travis McCullough of Bentonville; two brothers, J.W. Dortch and Calvin Dortch, both of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville with Rev. Billy Hardesty officiating. No visitation was held. Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville was in charge of arrangements.
