Dall Andree Walker, 69, of Manila, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at his residence in Manila.

Born in Sumter, S.C., he was the son of the late James and Ruther Esdorn Walker. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He had been a Manila area resident since 1972 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sumter, S.C.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Russell Walker, of the home; his step-daughter, Kaye Barker, of Manila; a brother, Fernie Walker of Benham, Texas; and a sister, Havala Jones of Sumter, S.C.; two step-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, May Carter Walker in 2000. He was also preceded in death by a step-son, Carroll Carter, two brothers and a sister.

The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with Rev. Ray Dill officiating. Burial was in the Manila Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Danny Robbins, John Parsley, Jr., Bobby Moore, Bill Clark, Jerry Hictchcock, and Arnold "Sonny" Lewis.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Nichols, A.D. Berry, Bobby Scott, and Clarence Shockley.
