Council approves purchases

The Blytheville City Council approved several vehicle purchases for the police and fire departments, Tuesday night. The new vehicles will cost the city a total of $72,872. Haley Field project to be completed this week

The turf field project at Haley Field in almost complete, and the Blytheville Chickasaws are expected to play their first game at home Friday night as planned. Construction crews began Friday morning laying down the first layer for the turf. Blytheville’s Director of Facilities Randy Jumper said this Friday’s home football game against 5A-East opponent the Nettleton Raiders is on schedule to played at the new-look Haley Field...
