Five girls were treated for injuries Monday after allegedly being hit by a car driven by an Osceola woman. According to a Jonesboro Police Department report, Liberty Torrez, 18, of Osceola is accused of hitting the victims with her vehicle twice along the 4000 block of Gabrial Court...

Blytheville police arrested a fugitive from Illinois on Tuesday afternoon. According to Capt. Scott Adams, the BPD CID commander, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday police apprehended 45 year old Marshall Williams, a parole absconder and fugitive. A warrant was issued for Williams at the end of June and US Marshall Bob Clark provided detectives with information that Williams may be in the Blytheville area...

The following are reports from the Blytheville Police Department. -- Police investigated a domestic assault in the 1300 block of Hearn. They arrested Benny Huddleston, Jr. who allegedly put his hands around his wife's neck when she refused to give him cars keys to go to the liquor store. She did not want to press charges, but police arrested Huddleston for public intoxication...
