A little about everything, or a lot about nothing ...

Arkansas Northeastern College, in partnership with Crowley's Ridge Educational Service Cooperative, will host a CTE Completer Event, a gathering for high school seniors who have earned completer status in a career and technical education program of study.

The 35th annual ESA/St. Jude Radio/Cable-thon will be held this weekend, beginning begin Friday on KHLS radio, and continuing Saturday, with Ritter Communications broadcasting the event from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. from a new location, the Blytheville High School auditorium.

Doris L. Robertson, 88, of Manila, widow of Thomas Robertson, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at the Manila Nursing Center.

The Blytheville City Council's finance committee approved a motion Thursday evening to recommend that the council withdraw $41,690 from the parks and recreation CD to cover work at the Blytheville Youth Sportsplex.
