Community shows its charitable side

I have never lived in a more charitable community! Thanksgiving Day, the Emergency Squad delivered 60 meals to mostly elderly, widowed women. After the confusion of seeing a rescue vehicle at their house, we were greeted with smiles and tears. I have never had a more fulfilling and blessed day. New JP district map sparks lawsuit

A lawsuit was filed on Nov. 23 with the Mississippi County Clerk's office against the members of the county Election Commission by Quorum Court member Adonis Hopper regarding the selection of the new JP redistricting map, which the suit calls "arbitrary and capricious."
