A Blytheville man was arrested by Caruthersville Police Sunday and charged with theft, according to reports. At 1:45 p.m., police were called to the Wal-Mart store for a report of a shoplifter. Officers were told when they arrived that the suspect, later identified as Robert Gordy, 39, had tried to steal several items before fleeing the store on foot across the street towards the levee.
