Gosnell to purchase new fire truck

GOSNELL— The Gosnell City Council held a brief special meeting Thursday night where they unanimously approved the purchase of an 03 American Lafrance Fire Truck from FIRETEC in the amount of $65,000.

The council approved the measure with five yea votes.

Fire Chief Shawn Pascal informed the council the purchase will be a great help in the rural areas of Gosnell because they do not have many hydrants.
