Loni Jean Harvell Cole

Loni Jean Harvell Cole of Luxora was born March 15, 1953, to Lonnie Joe Harvell and Charlene McDonald Harvell in Luxora. She transitioned from her earthly life on Feb. 17, 2023, in Jonesboro, at the age of 69. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Janice Washington.

She is survived by her husband, James Cole of Luxora; son, Marcus Warren of Jonesboro; stepson, Joe L. Kelly of Blytheville; five stepdaughters, Shawna Jennings, Natasha Odom of San Diego, Calif., Alexis Darkins of Osceola, Natalie Cole and Tonya Washington, both of Jonesboro; two sisters, Barbara Oldums of Arlington, Texas, and Carolyn Smith of Blytheville; two nieces she helped raise, Takisha Walters of Arlington, Texas, and Danielle Kilgore of Novato, Calif.; two grandchildren; 14 bonus grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, from 12:00 (noon) until 12:55 at Word of Truth Global Ministries, 415 Tennessee Street, Blytheville. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
