Clarence Henry Black

Clarence Henry Black, 68, of Osceola, passed away Feb. 19, 2023, at his home. He was a transporter, a U.S. Marine and a member of Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola. He was a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Mr. Black was born May 11, 1954, in Earle, to Oliver Smith and Mariah Black. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Pauline (John) Edwards of Osceola; three nieces, Tara (Reggie) Collins of Killeen, Texas, Kimberly (Marvell) Carr of Osceola and Alexisia Edwards of Florence, Ky.; two nephews, Octavius Hunter (Samantha Reece) of Florence, Ky., and John H. (Keaondria Lambert) Edwards III of Conway; one uncle, Dr. Moses (Bessie) Black of Osceola; two aunts, Gussie Black of Blytheville and Precious Davis of Memphis, Tenn.

Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 25, from 9-10 a.m. with the funeral at 10 a.m. at Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola will be in charge of arrangements.
