Dorothy Sue Holmes Riddle

Dorothy Sue Holmes Riddle, 89, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at her home.

Dorothy was born in Blytheville to James Wesley and Mary Lorene Williford. Dorothy loved her Lord and was a member of First Lutheran Church. She was a very vivacious, vibrant, and happy person. She was a social butterfly and she never met a stranger. Dorothy loved her children and grandchildren to the ends of the earth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Holmes, and second husband, Tom Riddle; son, Gary Holmes; daughter, Charlotte Hancock; brothers, Charlie and Jerry Williford; and sister, Shirley Gentry.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Mary Beth Beeler and Debra Lazenby, both of Blytheville; grandchildren, Jaclyn (Katherine) Beeler, Sara Beeler, Max Lazenby, Carter Lazenby, Tyler (Stephanie) Hancock, Jason (Jessica) Hancock, Jake Holmes and Gary (Meg) Holmes; great-grandchildren, Ella, Reid, Aidan, Luke and Jack Hancock, Rhett and Tyler Holmes, Brantley Lazenby, and Bentley, McKenzie and Sirah Beeler; daughter-in-love, Linda Holmes; and her very special friend, Sherry White.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Jason Hancock officiating. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
