Bonnie Faye Rice

Bonnie Faye Rice, 81, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at her home.

Bonnie was born in Holland, Mo., to William and Lillian Wright McGee. Bonnie loved Jesus and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Blytheville. She was a very selfless woman and would do anything for anyone. Bonnie loved and cherished her family, and always enjoyed family gatherings. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie enjoyed cooking, fishing, and taking trips to the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George William Rice; six brothers; and three sisters.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Allen Rice and his wife Cheryl and Scott Rice, all of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; grandchildren, Jeff (Nicki) Rice, Jessica (Tyler) George, Brayden Rice, Anna Rice, Josh Gray and Daniel Gray; great-grandchildren, Addie, Emmy, Gabby and Gavin; and brothers, Jimmy and Tommy McGee.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 19, at 12 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
