Mary Jean Craig

Mary Jean Craig, 97, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Mary was born in Lawrence, Miss., to Amber Everet and Myrtle Clara Lewis Howe and was a resident of Blytheville since 1946. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary was a homemaker and was a member of the Dogwood Extension Homemakers Club as well as the Quilting Club. She was an excellent seamstress and won many awards for her quilts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Craig; son, David Brent Craig; brothers, Jack, Glen and Paul Howe; and sisters, Una and Leila Howe.

Mary is survived by her son, Robert Craig and his wife Pamela; grandsons, Christopher Craig, Ian Craig and Michael Logston and his wife Renee; and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Madison Logston.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Oct. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Mike Gonzales officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
