Dorothy Faye Gray Lawrence

Dorothy Faye Gray Lawrence, 83, of Gosnell, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

Dorothy was born Feb. 21, 1939, in Etowak County, Ala., to the late Lena Mae Duwell and Otto Houston Gray. She has been a resident of Arkansas for the last 58 years. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, gardening and yard work.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyit E. Lawrence; siblings, Carolyn Krauss, Marlene Slape, Lena Mae Gray, Geraldine McCoy, Flora Griffey, Leon Gray, Charles Gray, Ronnie Gray, Jerry Gray, Billy Gray, Leon Gray and Stuart Gray.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Clyde Eugene Leath, Victoria Christine Morris (Chris), Donald Houston Leath; siblings, Anna Treadway (James), Donald Gray (Gloria); 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
