Jerry Maupin, 62, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at his home.

Jerry was born in Blytheville to Richard and Mary Lou Riddle Maupin. He was retired from Nucor Yamato Steel as well as Blytheville Police Department. Jerry enjoyed watching reality television shows and Nascar racing. Jerry had a passion for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a dedicated fan and especially loved Razorback football.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy, Larry and Gary Wayne Maupin; and sisters, Patricia Griffin and Gearldine Hastings.

Jerry is survived by his son, Chad Jackson and his wife Jessica of Gosnell and Jerry Maupin II and his wife Dulanjani of Broken Arrow, Okla.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way; brothers, Wesley Maupin and his wife Charlyne of Gosnell, Mack Maupin and his wife Sherry of Wilson, George Maupin and his wife Paola of Dallas, Ga., and Ricky Maupin and his wife Bobbie of Osceola; and sister, Susie Knight of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Holifield officiating. Burial will follow in Dogwood Cemetery.
