Charles Edward Green Sr.

Charles Edward Green Sr., 76, of Blytheville passed away Aug. 26, 2022, at the NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Charles was born Oct. 13, 1945, to Etheral Green and Annie Mae Green. He was retired from the Oscar Mayer Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Etheral and Annie Mae Green; four brothers, James Thomas Green, John Edward Green, Ethreal Green Jr. and Morris Clayton Green; one sister, Sara Vaughn.

He was survived by two sons, Charles Green Jr. of Madison, Wis., and Adrain Green (Rebecca) of Madison, Wis.; two daughters, Charlotte Johnson of Memphis, Tenn., and Monique Brown of Blytheville; one brother, Eddie Gene Green (Mary) of Madison, Wis.; two sisters, Renella Walker of Texas and Emma Spearman of Madison, Wis.; four grandsons, Darien Green, Darius Walker, Alvin Brown Jr. and Devont'e Brown Jr. with 26 other grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at the First Baptist Church in Joiner Saturday, Sept. 10, from 1-2 p.m. with funeral to follow at 2 p.m. with Dr. Clifton Taylor Sr. officiating. Burial will be at First Baptist Cemetery in Frenchmans Bayou. Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville is in charge of arrangements.
